For this activity:

You will need to write down your answers in your Mahara e-portfolio.

In this theme you have learnt two methods of strategic analysis. The second method, PESTLE, focuses on the macroenvironment.

Answer the following questions:

1.    What is a PESTLE analysis?

2.    Which factors do you need to examine when carrying out a PESTLE analysis?

Write a brief summary of what you think PESTLE analysis is and see if you can remember the factors involved. Start with the acronym for the headings for the environmental factors. Then think about each environmental factor and see if you can think of examples. 

Once you have exhausted your memory, then research the internet for some help.
