Orientation

This section will help you to navigate the module content and organise your time.

Each theme is divided into categories: Discover, Develop and Do.

Discover: These activities are the core concepts you need to understand in order to complete course activities and pass assessments. 

Develop: These activities are for you to practise your skills and test your understanding of the core concepts.

Do: These activities are designed for you to demonstrate that you have mastered the core concepts and can apply them confidently to a range of scenarios.

The Module Information outlines the themes of the module and how much time you should be spending on each topic.

We recommend that you use Mahara e-portfolio for this module. Responses to activities, note-taking and planning assessment can all be collated in the e-portfolio. It is NOT being used for your assessment. 

Timings for tasks

Tasks are categorised in 3 ways depending on how long you should roughly spend on each task

Shorter - 5-10 minutes

Mid-range -10 -45 minutes

Longer - 45 minutes +
