In this theme we have learned that there are guidelines to keep in mind when developing the product pitch:

They are:

–      KIS - Keep It Simple.

–      Limit technical terms/details.

–      Highlight customer benefits, not technical benefits. Tell the audience “what it does” and not “how it does it.”

–      Briefly describe the key parts of the product /service that create value for the customer.

–      Listeners tune out what they don’t understand.

Task: Read each ineffective product description and make them EFFECTIVE and brief according to the guidelines above.

INEFFECTIVE:

Our medical technology is the first automatic anesthetic gas scavenging system that will scan patient’s using an anesthetic vaporizer thus providing analytical, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques similar to those used by National Laboratories in 2007, but that were updated in 2011 to include the new immunology reports.


INEFFECTIVE:

We provide non-penetrable debridement medical equipment technologies for lymph node excision by integrating with our 4851-bit encryption algorithm that is integrated with the newest 245-bit Dorland operators.

 

INEFFECTIVE:

Our technology is the first integrated and automatic book scanner that will scan

and digitize bound documents at a speed of 1,200 PPM at a fraction of the cost

of existing solutions based on a disruptive digital imaging technology initially

developed at Bell Labs and protected by 12 patents.
