Spreadsheets are used for working with data sets such as numbers and text, and for generating charts and graphs. In the resources on this page, we will look at Microsoft Excel, which is a spreadsheet tool you are likely to use during your studies, both on campus and on your personal device. There are other software applications which use many of the same features as Excel, such as Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and OpenOffice Calc.
Having skills in spreadsheet software will help you to be successful during your studies and in your career after you finish university.
